It seems like yesterday....
My "little" brother who is actually 24 years old, just had his first son, Jaxon :). Im so proud of him, he is going to be such a great Daddy. It seems like yesterday that I was trying to convince him not to tuck in his shirts so he would look cool, getting aggravated with him because he took up all the room in the back seat of the car, drinking pickle juice shots, watching movies OVER AND OVER while our parents were at work, playing endless hours of war, watching him learn the dances to Men in Black and Billy Madison, and calling in our favorite songs to KIXY.(I could go on all night long!) I have so many memories of us together as kids and cant wait to see him create wonderful memories with his own little family.
This year has been such a big year and is still getting better! Landry was born March 20th, my nephew Jaxon was born on July 2nd, and my sister in law Lacy is due at the end of July with my nephew Jacody. When I was a kid I loved spending time with all my cousins , and I cant wait to see my girls and their cousins grow up together!

Running out of time, but doing what I can!
My list of to do items doesnt seem to be getting any smaller even though I have marked several things off of it. I guess as soon as I finish one task another gets added before I can make any progress, lol.
The most difficult thing for me to get checked off my list before Landry gets here is getting ready for a permanant sub that I have never met. My previous sub is now working with me as a first grade teacher, so I didnt know anyone else to take the job. My principle found someone for me, and she nor I know her (which makes me quite a bit nervous). On top of that, I am busy non stop at work and can barely stay caught up day to day.....so trying to get lesson plans and assessment tests made up for the last 6 weeks of school is so hard right now! I have tried, but I make no progress!! I guess since Josh will be working most of Spring Break and we cant really go anywhere I will just have to spend my Spring Break away from school, at school getting ready for my maternity leave.
The second biggest task is getting our house rearranged and cleaned up before Landry arrives. We have been slowly taking stuff to Bronte in the event that a house comes up for sale in the near future, so that if we need to sale our house quickly it wouldnt be as hard. So thats just a process that we are doing as much as we can when we can.
This summer will be a busy time for Josh and I's parents for sure. Not only are Josh and I having Landry in April, my brother Jay is having a baby boy in July and Josh's sister Lacy is having a baby boy in July as well!! I will be a Mommy of 3 and get 2 new nephews all in one summer!
It will be interesting to see what happens with the moving process in all this time. We have been looking in Bronte for about 3 years and have made offers that have been turned down or have liked houses that are overpriced, or just plain havent seen a house that doesnt require alot of updating/repairing. We have been told by some friends that if they move (which they plan on if all works out) that they would offer us the house before putting it on the market, and we love it!! So we are just being patient and like I have always told Josh...God has a reason for everything! So even though the previous 2 houses we put offers in didnt work out, I never got really upset because I know that he just had something better for us. Truth be told, knowing now about the house we may get soon, I am super excited we didnt get the other 2 houses.
Happy Dr. Seuss Day by the way!! (60 first graders and I made ziplock bags full of oobleck today in honor of Dr. Seuss! They loved it!)

New bed, new sport, and new baby!!
First- I dont trust Kenzie climbing up the ladder or Maddie coming down in the middle of the night on the ladder to potty.
Second- The price of the stairs is less than one trip to the ER with a broken arm (so we will call it insurance)
Third- There are drawers in each step which helps with much needed storage since their will be 3 girls in one room until we move to Bronte (which is still a mystery- but for sure before summer of 2013 when Maddie will be starting school).
Needless to say, I love the beds and am excited to start rearranging the girls room. Now I just have to find a comforter set for Kenzie.
As far as Landry goes, I have done NOTHING! We have worn out the carseat stroller with Maddie and Kenzie, and I want her to have her own bedding set for her crib....and cant decide on a decision for either thing. So hopefully I order things in enough time that they will be here before she arrives in about 9 weeks...AHHHHH!
Maddie is still loving gymnastics and is improving a great deal :) But now we are going to throw in soccer to the mix and see how that goes. Practices are supposed to start this month and she will have a game every Saturday in March and April except spring break. Landry better be ready to watch some soccer because I am determined not to miss a game. So Landry may see her first soccer game at 3 days old :) Maddie will be on the Lil Hurricanes in the toddler league, and I am excited!
I will try to update more often than I have been.....but no promises!

Quick Trip :)
After we got back from the river the guys were a little tired...but Kenzie was ready to go. So Josh and I took Maddie and Kenzie to the pool.

This is Maddie at 11 oclock or so when she was talking in her sleep and she sat up for about 3 minutes before she finally laid back down. I was just laughing, because its cute to me. Josh felt sorry for her I guess, but its his fault because she got it from him, lol!
